Born and raised in Kenya, Shyam is practically made of safari dust and adventure. He briefly swapped the savannah for the Scottish Highlands to further his studies (and yes, he did learn to survive the cold), where he accidentally fell into the wedding industry—don’t worry, not literally. There, he managed a prestigious wedding venue, mastering the art of impeccable hospitality and keeping brides calm under pressure (arguably harder than handling a rogue buffalo).
But Kenya called him home, and who could resist? Back on familiar soil, Shyam took the reins at managing a luxury safari lodge, combining his natural flair for adventure with top-tier guest experiences. Whether it’s organizing candle-lit bush dinners or ensuring your sundowner comes with just the right gin-to-tonic ratio, he knows exactly what makes a holiday unforgettable.
Shyam isn’t just a desk-bound planner either—he’s walked the walk, quite literally. He’s summited both Mt Kenya and Mt Kilimanjaro, tackled multi-day treks across the country, cycled through the most remote corners of Kenya (where the zebras outnumber people), and even viewed lions and elephants on foot—on purpose! When he’s not out climbing or diving into crystal-clear waters, he’s scouting hidden gems and luxury lodges that most travel agents only dream about.
